Yeovil Town 1-2Preston North End

North End made the short trip from Bristol through the countryside towards Yeovil Town. The venue, Town's professional teams training ground was in the middle of nowhere, quality. North End sporting their swanky all red kit made a perfect start. New recruit Adie found the net 15 minutes in after some good play from Preston

It was 2-0 shortly after, Stuart Bolton finishing from close range to double Preston's lead. It was a great first half from North End, creating plenty of chances but failing to add to the score line. Yeovil scored a late goal as North End started to get leggy. Steve Cowell's men held on for a great victory, their second in two days. It was a brilliant performance to finish off the regular season.

Bristol City 0-6 Preston North End

Preston traveled to Bristol on the Saturday morning, with no pressure to head off to the pro's game. Steve Cowell and his lads were all in a relaxed mood prior to kick off. Preston playing in white, blue and blue started well. Wacker played a blinding first half bagging the two opening goals.

Stuart, Andy, Adie and Alex Higgins got on the score sheet as North End ran out 6-0 winners. The goal of the game was Wacker's chipped effort in the first half. After the game we went back to our hotel, then onto the professionals hotel where we met Preston manager Alan Irvine and players Chris Brown and Craig Beattie.
